In June 2015, 15 Leaders from around the world were selected as part of a group of 1,000 young people to participate in the 2017 UNLEASH Innovation Lab in Copenhagen, Denmark. During the 10-day event, participants will work together to create real, scalable solutions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). While in Denmark, all participants will go through a facilitated process of innovation, uniquely tailored by UNLEASH. They will form teams to explore real-life challenges within outlined themes, before defining specific problems and coming up with preliminary solutions. These are tested with leading experts and company partners, then refined, and ultimately presented to peers and panels of judges and mentors. UNLEASH is a global non-profit initiative aiming to address the SDGs by bringing 1,000 young talents together each year until 2030 to innovate and collaborate on new solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges.
