Training Helps Shift Attitudes on Contraception in Southwest Nigeria

Nnamdi Eseme (Class of 2016) worked with Kelechukwu Nwachukwu (Class of 2016) to host an Amplify Change UK funded project event with support from the Youth Network Against Female Genital Mutilation, to engage stakeholders working on adolescent health and rights to clarify their values and address stigma related to adolescent access to contraception. The training, participants learned more about contraception and positive health outcomes associated with proper family planning methods which helped shift their attitudes.
