In February 2018, the Citizens Forum of Central Asia convened in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, to discuss water-related issues. Ermek Mamaev (Class of 2018) and another delegate from Kyrgyzstan attended the Citizens Forum and participated in the Youth group, where they developed proposals on the water resources of Central Asia, which were then presented at the VIII World Water Forum held in Brazil in March.
