María Rendo

Senior Associate, Digital Communications

María Rendo (she/her/ella) is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has lived in four countries and speaks five languages. She’s a passionate advocate for gender equality, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and girls’ education.

Before joining Women Deliver, she was the Communications Coordinator at Malala Fund, the organization founded by Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai. In this role, she supported the Communications and Creative team in creating content in English, Spanish, and Portuguese for the organization’s social media platforms, website, and award-winning digital publication, Assembly. Her prior experience includes internships at Global Citizen, the Tinker Foundation, the Permanent Mission of Honduras to the U.N., and Americas Society / Council of the Americas.

María manages Women Deliver’s digital platforms, strategy, and campaigns by expanding and strengthening the organization’s online presence and engaging partners and supporters across programs.

She holds a BA in Global Liberal Studies and Romance Languages, and an MA in International Relations, with a concentration on Human Rights and Latin America, from New York University.
