The World Contraception Day Ambassadors Project — a partnership between Women Deliver and Bayer — equips young people with the skills they need to collect and share digital stories about young people’s sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), particularly access to contraception in their home countries. The project includes a storytelling and digital media training, a $5,000 seed grant, and advocacy opportunities for the Ambassadors to showcase their work at the international level. This project is fostering the next generation of champions for SRHR by creating more opportunities for youth advocates to share their stories, ideas, and expertise, the project raises awareness of young people’s perspectives and needs.

On Thursday, 28 July, 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM EST we will reconnect with some of the 2015 World Contraception Day Ambassadors to find out how digital storytelling has advanced their advocacy work. They will also be sharing advice with the next cohort of ambassadors (to be announced on International Youth Day, 12 August).

You can join us for this conversation by tuning in on Thursday to a Google Hangout hosted by Women Deliver.
