Former iCEO & Board Member

Kathleen Sherwin (she/her) is the former President & iCEO at Women Deliver. Kathleen served as interim President & Chief Executive Officer for two years, beginning in June 2020 through June 2022. Kathleen previously served as Women Deliver’s Chief Operating Officer and Senior Advisor, joining the organization in 2017. While at Women Deliver, Kathleen served​ as a Core Member of the Equal Measures 2030 Leadership Council (EM2030), Board Member Alternate for The Partnership for Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (PMNCH), Board Member of the Adolescent Girls Investment Plan (AGIP), Advisor, Women’s Health Initiative, World Economic Forum (WEF), and was named as both a 2021 and 2022 International Gender Champion (IGC).

Kathleen brings over 20 years of experience to the advocacy community.

Before joining Women Deliver, Kathleen worked independently with global advocacy, non-profit, and political organizations serving as an advisor to such organizations as The Center for Reproductive Rights, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Girls Write Now, Acumen, The Corkery Group, and Global Health Strategies.

Prior to her time as a consultant, Kathleen held several senior management roles at Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) while serving as Advisor to the President, Cecile Richards.  Before joining PPFA, Kathleen served in various leadership roles at Binnacle Capital, a large family office focused on both financial and philanthropic ventures where she oversaw start-ups as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer.

Kathleen began her career in US politics working for Democratic presidential campaigns and conventions including Gore 2000, Kerry 2004, and Obama 2008.  Kathleen also served as a Lead for the White House Advance Office for several US Administrations.

Kathleen received her BS in Marketing Communications from Emerson College and her Executive MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business with specializations in corporate finance, strategy, and leadership.
