Senior Associate, Youth Engagement

Christabel Netondo is a subject matter expert on Meaningful Youth Engagement with vast experience in designing and implementing youth-targeted programs in international development. Specifically, she’s mainstreamed youth engagement in Gender, Education, and Employability-focused programs in East Africa.

As the Senior Associate, Youth Engagement at Women Deliver, Netondo leads the grants management workstream of the Emerging Leaders Program. She provides technical expertise on grant project development and implementation to 30 Emerging Leaders. Before joining Women Deliver, Netondo consulted for Mastercard Foundation as the Youth Engagement partner. Previously worked at the Global Partnership for Education, IDEO.org, and Making Cents International among other youth-focused organizations globally.

She has an undergraduate degree in Education from Moi University an MA in Diplomacy, Development, and International Security from Daystar University, and an Executive Education certification in Grant Management from Strathmore University.

Netondo draws her inspiration from Ngozi Okonjo, and Ellen Sirleaf Johnson among other African women leaders. She is a social runner and loves listening to wellness podcasts.
