A profound change is needed in our society and we, young people, must fight for a gender-equal world where we respect each other and the planet, everyone has the same opportunities, and sexual and reproductive health and rights are accessible to all.

What ignited your pursuit for gender equality?
I have always questioned the world critically and have quickly realized that I disagree with much of what happens in this world. I grew up with evidence that women and men could have equal rights. However, early on, I observed that this was not yet the case in our society, which I simply could not understand. That ignited the pursuit to establish exactly these equal opportunities for everyone.
Please share your biggest wins as an advocate for gender equality.
I founded the first youth network fighting for SRHR in Switzerland. With this youth network, we organized and implemented a nationwide campaign for holistic sexual education with street actions, videos, and events. It brought the issue of sex education onto the political agenda.
Outside of your gender equality advocacy work, what do you enjoy doing?
My biggest passion next to SRHR advocacy is dancing (hip hop, contemporary, ballet) and everything related to culture, especially photography. I'm dancing the nights away with my friends on weekends.
