Bio
Phan Hoàng Triệu Huy is a SRHR and human rights advocate, who helped to raise public awareness about breast cancer in Vietnam. As a Human Resources practitioner, he is currently promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies in workplaces and HIV/AIDS prevention as well.
What ignited your pursuit for gender equality?
Having shared with my mother the experiences of being a single mom and having to deal with criticism and uterine fibroid alone, I have grown an understanding of women's difficulties and challenges. Therefore, I want to use my advantages to help women's lives better.
Please share your biggest wins as an advocate for gender equality.
My social media outreach campaign for the Pink Hat Day 2019 of Breast Cancer Network Vietnam was a great success and made me the most proud because I utilized my skills to help reach millions of people to raise awareness about breast cancer.
Outside of your gender equality advocacy work, what do you enjoy doing?
I love music, dance and adventurous sport - they are a kind of language for me to make friend and connect with different people.
