In a world filled with love/hate, hope/despair, truth/lies, honor/shame, rights/wrongs it a must for everyone to write their own story, build their personalities, and to listen to their own voices regardless of the noises surrounding them. And for those who can't, it's our responsibility to make it a reality for everyone.

What ignited your pursuit for gender equality?

Seeing women in my community starting to believe that you are born less than men and accepting our current situation is what opened my eyes and held me responsible for opening their eyes to the truth as well.

Please share your biggest wins as an advocate for gender equality.

I made a decision to start giving the fifth grade class that I teach additional discussions in class about empowering women and self-love. One of my girls told me that she stood before her teacher at school, and when he told them that girls could not do math, she told him that girls could do anything. In a community like this, seeing them raising their voices is the win. Sometimes the smallest things can mean the world.

Outside of your gender equality advocacy work, what do you enjoy doing?

I enjoy playing basketball, table tennis, and Rubik’s cube. I love making 2D Animation and cartooning as well.
