World Environment Day Panel Leads to Commitment on Plastic Ban in Ghana

As a member of a panel on the End Plastic Pollution event commemorating World Environment Day in Ghana, Cecil Dadzie (Class of 2018) emphasized the power of social media to champion environmental efforts to save the planet and spur youth action across Ghana to promote environmental conservation. Following the event, policymaker and member of the Ghanaian parliament Dr. Zenator Rawlings pledged to support the call to ban plastics.
