Women Deliver Young Leaders Visit Johns Hopkins CCP to Discuss Family Planning
Kizanne James, Patrick Segawa, and William Otuku (Class of 2016) and Sandy Abdelmessih (Class of 2018) were invited to Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs in Baltimore to discuss their work to advance SRHR in their countries (Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda, Tanzania, and Egypt, respectively). Kizanne, a World Contraception Day Ambassador, founded Access Sex Health, a global enterprise that improves access to sexual health resources within developing countries. Patrick founded Public Health Ambassadors Uganda, which works to raise awareness on SRHR issues, including HIV prevention. William is currently an executive board member at the International Youth Alliance on Family Planning, dedicated to supporting youth to learn and advocate for family planning and SRHR. Sandy is a moderator for the Love Matters Arabic website, a platform that addresses topics related to love and reproductive health.
