Adebisi Adenipekun’s World Contraception Day (WCD) Ambassadors Project, Rural Contraceptives Access Campaign (RCAC) provided basic awareness of family planning through a town hall meeting in Niger State that was attended by over 1,000 people (including villagers, government officials, and policymakers). The wife of the executive Governor of Niger State, Dr. Amina Abubakar Bello, attended the town hall meeting and spoke passionately on child spacing and the need for men to support their partners to use family planning. Local policymakers, Chairman of Shiroro and Director of Primary Healthcare Agency, also attended the town hall meeting.
