Jasmine George (Class of 2016) used her extended grant to interview experts who worked directly with juveniles who have been in conflict with the law in order to assess how best to move forward with the 12-week podcast series on sexuality education called “Listen to Your Body” and interact with this population. Her findings revealed that these at-risk youth sought guidance related to online safety and internet-related violence. Subsequently, Jasmine was invited by government officials to consult on restorative justice and introducing an online safety course in government schools. She has directly engaged 32 beneficiaries and reached 162 indirect beneficiaries through her project, and has likely reached a wider community through her podcast series that was adapted from Hindi to Kannada.
