Patrick Segawa organized The Mega Family Planning Street Concert in Uganda. The goal of the concert was to increase knowledge and awareness of SRHR issues, including GBV, HIV/AIDS, and contraception. The concert was free to enter, but a prerequisite for entry was having received services or talked to a peer educator. Using community drama, dance, and flash mobs, famous musical artists, radio talk show hosts, and peer educators reached crowds of 10,000 young girls and women. During the event, 3,000 people were reached or referred to quality HIV and SRH services including FP, STI testing and treatment, and GBV information.
