During the 61st Commission on the Status of Women, Marisol Ruiz of Mexico spoke during a side event session hosted by WGNNR and Love Matters. The event, called “Advancing Action on SRHR: Harmonizing Online & Offline Campaigning Strategies,” explored advocacy for sexual and reproductive health and rights in both digital and grassroots spaces. Marisol detailed her experience as a youth advocate for sexual and reproductive health, and the ways in which online advocacy can complement in-person advocacy efforts.
