Prior to the start of the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) in New York City, youth advocates from around the world came together for a two-day workshop, hosted by Restless Development. These Youth Action Days gave youth advocates an opportunity to learn more about the HLPF, understand the importance of youth-led accountability, and get connected to accountability mechanisms at the national and regional levels. Women Deliver Young Leaders Ismail Aziz and Lucia Berro Pizzarossa participated. During the workshop, Women Deliver Young Leader Ismail Aziz facilitated a break-out session on Sustainable Development Goal 5 where he mapped out young people’s efforts in-country and made plans for youth engagement during the HLPF.
