As the newly appointed president of the Youth Advocacy Movement and board member of the St. Lucia Planned Parenthood Association (SLPPA), Latoya Charles (Class of 2018) conducted capacity-building training sessions with her team. After conducting a basic assessment within the group to identify focus areas, she created a certificate program for members to be trained on sexual and reproductive health, sexuality, leadership, financial management, emotional intelligence, public speaking, and interpersonal relationships.
