Fsahat Ul Hassan represented young people in Asia and the Pacific at the 2017 UN Public Service Forum. He helped present the “Declaration of the Youth for the Future” to the Assistant Secretary-General of UN, Mr. Thomas Gass during the closing ceremony. The event focused on how innovative policies can be fostered to implement the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development even when resources are scarce, objectives are highly ambitious, and interests are disparate. Participants focused on ways to channel the efforts and creativity of governments into effective SDG implementation in areas such as youth engagement, health, and sustainable energy, among many others.
