Boris was awarded a $5,000 Women Deliver seed grant, made possible by Johnson & Johnson, to implement his project entitled “Breaking the Silence: Mobilizing Students for Action on SRHR.” This project seeks to improve services and increasing access of students to the Youth Friendly Centre of the University of Port Harcourt. Boris will work to build the capacity of 5,000 students of the institution on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) and contraceptives choice through digital media, social media campaigns, and targeted communications efforts like op-eds and public debate sessions. The ultimate goal is to ensure that at least 25 percent of the entire student population of 40,000 will benefit from the youth center.
