On HIV Awareness Day, Aya Elbeshina (Class of 2018) hosted an event at the medical campus at her school to educate students about HIV/AIDS and advocate for the elimination of stigma and discrimination against patients living with HIV. Thanks to her event, medical students learned more about post-exposure protective measures and occupational needle stick injury.
