Kavindya Thennakoon’s (Class of 2018) organization, Without Borders, secured a meeting with Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Education to discuss the national 13 Years Guaranteed Education Program that aims to align the local curricula with the world of work. She pitched the Ideator program, a 3-day leadership accelerator designed to help students expand their creative and critical thinking skills. The Ministry decided to integrate the model within their national program. She and her organization currently working on refining the program for roll-out in all schools across the country.
