Women Deliver’s mission is to advocate globally for gender equality and the health, rights, and wellbeing of girls and women.
To help achieve its goals, Women Deliver relies on the generous funding support from a variety of partners, including the private sector, governments, foundations and individuals who are essential to its success. Accordingly, Women Deliver seeks partners who share its goals and values and who exemplify good business and ethical practices.
Our donor policy also identifies several industries from which Women Deliver will not accept funding due to the nature of the business or business practices including industries whose primary income and/or brand association is derived from the following: Tobacco, Alcohol, Armament, Exploitation or Abuse of Women or Children, Extractive Industries, and Sugary Drinks.
Women Deliver neither discredits nor disregards the contributions to improving gender equality and the health and rights of girls and women from those sectors from which, in its discretion, it does not accept funding. We also note, that in the interests of girls and women, Women Deliver is collaborating and partnering (without monetary acceptance) with a broad range of industries and sectors, including a diversity of voices and points of view.
